Having a few months off I decided to take a swag at building a site that allowed a user to easily browse events that cater to people with very little money. Launching this site early in the recession that hit hard in 2009 garnered some press as the world wondered how to deal with this new funemployed phenomenon.

A friend asked me to help with the UX work and some usability issues as he designed and developed this Flickr search application that went on to win a Communication Arts award. Ryan is an amazing designer in his own right and this webapp allows you to search Flickr's vast database in a clean, filterable way that's perfect for viewing en mas.
