An early introduction to capitalism
Lemonade Day is a free, community-wide program that teaches youth how to become successful entrepreneurs using the concept of a lemonade stand. Over 27,000 youth participated in Houston this year! Lemonade Day is all about learning how to run your own business. How-to workbooks to you about budgets, securing investors, choosing your location and making signs will be provided to participants. In addition, the Entrepreneurs Workbook will cover life-long lessons for a successful business including customer service, starting a saving account, and giving back to the community—and of course, how to make lemonade!
