Go Hammer, Go Hammer, Go!
For the second year in a row, MC Hammer will be kicking off the annual Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival with a performance on Friday afternoon at 11:30 am
The festival, a flurry of banjos (and many other instruments) will take place in Golden Gate Park and is completely FREE. Rain or Shine. Six stages of music, hundreds of bands and performers and over 750,000 are expected over the three days. The lineup features Hazel Dickens, The Chieftains, The Wronglers, Mavis Staples, Neko Case, Lyle Lovett and His Large Band, Old Crow Medicine Show, Doc Watson, Marianne Faithfull, Okkervil River, Dr. Dog, Steve Martin with the Steep Canyon Rangers, Billy Bragg, Allen Toussaint, World Party, Old 97’s, The Del McCoury Band, Booker T. & the DBTs, Earl Scruggs, Gillian Welch, Little Feat, Aimee Mann, Richie Havens, John Prineand many more.
