David has long been rightfully considered
one of the key beat poets, while Clark
might be looked at more as a language poet…
as it happens, David & Clark were also
prime movers in David’s psychedelic
jazz-drenched poets’ rock band called
“The Serpent Power” back in the halcyon days
of San Francisco’s North Beach
in the heyday of the beat/hippie era…
Any way you cut it, this is big!
here, today, they’re two amazing,
bop-influenced poets
doing their thing with Don’s jazz stand-up bass
epitomizing a west coast cool esthetic…
